Details:
H85N26 narrates a story of institutional conspiracy. It has been observed by the artist that recently many art museums are technically well equipped for sound installations, that sound art is being heavily promoted and that the Ministry of External Affairs is interested in the promotion of the Arts.
During Monsoons, when the world is suffering from Flu in epic proportions and all the hospitals are full, a certain Museum of Modern Arts (in return of receiving state sponsorship) temporarily converts itself into the School of Tropical Diseases. The director of the museum doubles up as a doctor, the curator becomes nurse. Books about Degas inform about Dengue. But patients are unaware that they are bugged. The security staff collects data and processes it. From the tonal quality of a cough or a sneeze, it can be forecasted, with which strain of virus terrorists will strike next year.
